New Years Day: The New Has Come

Happy New Years Day!

“If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

New life

New clothes

New school

New career

New family

New baby

New car

New house

We love the new.

And, you really love new life from the dead.

Christ Whose love for you is always hot is head over heels for you!

Nothing could stop Him from reaching you in your wilderness and carrying you home in His arms.

Yesterday, we read that He will wipe away every tear ….

The very next verses say this:

“(5) And He who sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (6) It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who is thirsty from the fountain of the water of life freely. (7) Those who overcome shall inherit all things; and I will be their God, and they shall be My sons and daughters.” Revelation 21:5-7

When we received Him, we received God in the spirits of our new persons. The old people we were died on the cross in Christ (Romans 6:6-7).

New and free and complete in Christ!

“[I want you to acknowledge] the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3

God has summed up “all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:” Ephesians 1:10

We are new persons who contain the Godhead including The Person, Christ, Who Is the sum of all wisdom and knowledge in heaven and earth.

Thank You, Dear God!

  1. Happy New Year to you too!

I look forward to the new opportunities that are opening in 2017 and thankful for those doors that have already closed or are closing.

The best to you as you embrace the New Year in furthering His Kingdom by enabling His children.

    * Moving from self-reliance to total dependence on Christ as we share His life with others.*
