What Matters is a New Creation!

“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matter. What matters is a new creation.” Galatians 6:15

Paul made an incredible statement, “What matters is a new creation.”

Though the phrase new creation only appears twice in the Bible and only by Paul, its focus floods the revelation given to him by Christ (Gal 1:12).

For, the new creation is God dwelling in you.

Pastors and church leaders accurately teach that the Holy Spirit is in you.

But, most of us are taught that Christ is only in heaven at the right-hand of the Father. Not according to Scripture!

The Scripture further reveals that our Father is not only on His throne, but is also in us!

Why would all three Persons of the Godhead want to be in and with you? Because They’re crazy about you. The Lover always will go to His beloved.

“He intensely craves the spirit that He made to dwell in us.” James 4:5

You are a brand new creation, because of what Christ has done for you through His cross and because of the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in you!

And, equally important is the truth that the old things have passed away through Christ’s sacrifice, because His crucifixion and circumcision stopped your old self with its old nature, dead  in its tracks! A new self arose in its place.

“And they who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its affections and desires (sinful nature).” Galatians 5:24

“(10) And you are complete in Him, Who is the head of all principality and power: (11) in Whom you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:” Colossians 2:10-11

“Put on the new person, who is created after God in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:24

“Put on the new person, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him Who created him:” Colossians 3:10
