Evolution: Lend-Lease

Lend-Lease was a pre-WW2 US bill by which war and relief materials were exchanged for leasing allied bases.

So, what does Lend-Lease have to do with evolution?

You have been lent everything by which to live – you have a lease on life.

Everything you have, including yourself, is on borrowed time through the hourglass.

Even the ability to learn, apply knowledge and earn a living are gifts.

There’s a point to it all. Neither life, nor you yourself, are accidents of galactic proportions.

And as with all leases in life, you owe.

At the end of life’s lease, you do not own yourself.

You existed in a system beyond your control.

The Creator owns it all.

We will all appear before the One Who owns life, Who Is that very Life.

Will you have known Him, ignored Him, or rejected Him [or the idea of God]?

There is no recourse, no choice, no avoidance. You will face Him.

At the end of lend-lease you are accountable for what you did with the life that was given to you.

“And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Hebrews 9:27

You were designed in the image of God to be one with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

Nothing else will truly satisfy you.

Did you share with Him, the Creator and Giver of all good things?

He is the Epitome of being free, of living in life and peace.

Would you like to live like this, and to be with the One Who desperately loves you and wants you?

If you find yourself alone, apart from Him, with its accompanying stress and depression, let me introduce you to the One Who moved heaven and earth through a cross to show His love to you.

You matter.

All of this was for Him and you enjoying life together.

But, apart from Him, we lose all.

“(34) And when He had called the people to Him with His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (35) For whoever will save his life shall lose it, but whoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel’s, shall save it. (36) For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? (37) Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (38) Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38

Please accept His offer of life from the dead, and life forevermore.
