“What did I just pass through?” the man asked himself. “I could feel something sliding off from over me.” He looked behind him, feeling the increasing coolness, as he walked away. He retraced a few steps. Warmer. “What was I doing or thinking, when I came out from under … what?” “The Lord and I had been talking together, then that strobe-like thought beset me. I turned to look after it, and lost track of Him. I began thinking I was alone and in trouble.”
Was this incident just a perception or a reality?
Had The Lord left him?
Nor was He like a yo-yo, close, then far, then close ….
No, the man, in his thought, left Him. It was his own perception, an alert from The Lord of the man’s turning away to his own saying and doing. He was not sharing The Lord’s, and therefore felt lost.
You are never alone.
You are in Him.[i]
But the enemy’s temptation is for you feel that way.
Do not yield to the enemy’s attempts.
Instead, turn to Him in and with you.
The Lord’s Presence overwhelms and engulfs you every moment.
Your being one with Him entitles you to share His
There will be many times you do not feel like doing the right thing. Thing is the old mindset of just I.
But this is external Law, forgetting His internal Presence, that you depend on Him.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; no, it is not I [not just I, nor only my new self ‘I’], but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by The Son of God’s faith, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
You may not feel willing. Depend on His thoughts, feelings, desires, and willingness. “Lord, help me be willing to be made willing in You. I ask to share Your willingness.”
He is always eager to provide Himself as your Answer to Whom you need.
You may not want to yield to Him. Share His yieldedness that He always gave His and our Father.
You no longer depend on yourself – victory comes only in Him.
“I Am the Vine, you are the branches. He who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without Me, you can do nothing.” John 15:5

What shall we do? (16) And he answered, Do not fear: for they who are with us are more than they who are with them. (17) And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. (3) You compass my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. (4) For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, You know it altogether. (5) You have beset me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. (6) Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. (7) Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your Presence? (8) If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. (9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; (10) even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. (11) If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. (12) Yes, the darkness does not hide from You, but the night shines as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to You. (13) For You have possessed my inmost being: You have covered me in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:1-13
